How Modified Monthly works
A dog or cat treat subscription box should be easy to understand before you pay. Here is every step, including the parts about money.
From sign up to your door

We make and ship the first box
Your first box is $1 and ships free in 1 to 3 business days.
A new box each month
Every month a new themed box ships, for $50 plus taxes.

What a treat subscription box means here
This is a treat subscription box. Each month we pack our own single ingredient treats, freeze-dried or air-dried in small batches in Malvern, Pennsylvania. There are no toys in the box. The theme and lineup change every month, and contents, quantities and sizes vary.
Each box is for one pet, so a home with two dogs orders two boxes. Pets in the same home get the same lineup.
Your first three shipments
The $1 offer needs three paid shipments. Here is how they add up.

Taxes are extra. Shipping is free on every box. After the third box, you can cancel any time before your next billing date in your account at sniffandshift.com/account or by emailing support@sniffandshift.com.
Leaving early
You have two ways to leave before the third shipment.
- Before the first box is fulfilled. Cancel free, with a refund, before your order is fulfilled and a tracking number is issued.
- After that. Pay a one-time $49 early cancellation charge.

Skip, pause, gifts and add-ons
- Skip or pause. If a month does not suit you, skip it or pause your subscription through your account or by contacting us. This changes timing only and does not count toward the three shipment minimum.
- Gifts. A box can ship to an address that is different from the buyer's. Order it as a gift, and know that it renews until cancelled.
- Add-ons. Extra treats added through the subscription portal save 15% and ship free with your box.
- Changing proteins. Contact us and tell us what to add to the skip list.
Common questions
When is my second box charged?
Every month after the first box. The renewal price is $50 plus taxes.
What if I cancel before the third box?
You can cancel free before the first box is fulfilled. After that, a one-time $49 early cancellation charge applies. Read the subscription terms.
How do I change proteins?
Contact us with the proteins to add or remove, and tell us which pet it is for.
